3. Give the new cluster a name, for example, Cluster 1, which is shown in ﬁgure 7. When adding hosts to clusters, you need to determine

your conﬁguration preferences, e.g. name, location, DRS, etc. For more information on these conﬁguration preferences, refer to VMware

documentation. For this setup, we named it Cluster 1, and selected defaults as shown in Figure 7.

4. After you conﬁgured your cluster, you can now add ESX hosts. To do this, right click on New Cluster, add your ESX hosts to the new

cluster. For example, in ﬁgure 9, we added host 10.192.32.221 to Cluster 1.
