Legacy PCIe Hot-Plug Is Not Supported by SLES10 SP2
Issue:
SLES10 SP2 is not able to do legacy hot-plug on the Sun Blade X6270 Server
Module. During boot up the kernel loads the PCIE_AER driver. This driver gains
native (pciehp) control of PCIe hot-plug slots using the BIOS/ACPI _OSC
method. After this occurs, the legacy (acpiphp) hot-plug driver should never be
loaded.
Affected Operating Systems and Software:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2 (SLES10 SP2)
Supplemental Software Releases 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.1
Workaround:
You must use the pciehp hot-plug driver with SLES10 SP2 on the Sun Blade
X6270 Server Module.
The acpiphp hot-plug driver should not be used with SLES10 SP2 on the Sun
Blade X6270 Server Module.

Or

Affected Operating Systems and Software:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.3
Supplemental Software Releases 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.1
Workaround:
These error messages are benign and have no effect on the system stability or
performance.
